This charming cottage style quilt can be made in both king and queen size and features a center patchwork medallion surrounded by patchwork frames. My inspiration often begins with glorious vintage French floral with images and colorations that bring the beauty of gardens indoors. Images of southern France, with its rich cypress greens, the vivid blues of the sparkling Mediterranean sea, cobalt blue glassware and bountiful bouquets of flowers in large earthen pottery, visions of sunflowers gently swaying in the cool breezes, all played in my imagination giving rise to the colors of this beautiful quilt, Chantal.
